THE TEXAS TWO STEP
There’s been a lot of confusion about the ‘Texas
Two Step’ voting procedure. It’s
really just a term for performing two simple tasks
in order to make your voice heard.
Here are the facts:
Step One (vote). Early vote anytime between now and
next Friday, February 29. If you don’t you can
still vote at your local precinct on Election Day,
Tuesday, March 4, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. All
you need to bring is your voter registration card or
a photo ID.
Step Two (pick your partner). On Election Day, March
4, show up at your poling location for your precinct
convention at 7 p.m. (starts at 7:15 p.m.) and pick
your partner, Obama or Clinton, by checking their name
when you sign in. Please bring a photo ID or
your voter’s registration card to the precinct
convention so you can participate.
Doing these two things will ensure that your candidate
wins Texas. If you have any questions about registration,
voting locations or times, please call your local elections
office.
Remember, voting is your voice. Speak
LOUD!
